Monika Onoszko

Thinking Re-Act...

For many years I have been keenly interested in ecology, recycling and fair trade, introducing these ideas to my own live and work. Three years ago Re-Act competition was a great discovery for me and is still there, each of its next edition. So with great desire I participate in it, especially since as a juror have a chance to see a lot more than what is reserved for the viewer of the show. Besides, I am a local patriot and always try to support all worthwhile projects related to my town.

In his studio in Warsaw's Prague designs collections of fabrics sourced from recycling. Putting on their own individualism as well as their clients creates dresses originated from shawls, scarves originated from shirts, coats originated from jackets, jackets originated from pants, pants originated from sweaters. The most important in her dress is color, design and workmanship.

Ramona Rey

Thinking Re-Act...

Re-Act competition interested me since the first edition, and the ecology for years. Creating beauty from "nothing" or unnecessary - if this philosophy was popular, our world would avoid most problems for long time.

She is an independent artist who rejected the proposals of record companies in order to be able to fully decide on her work. Her exceptional and unique style is characterized by an innovative approach to writing lyrics, unusual way of phrasing, building a rhythmic figure and melody. Just working on her third album, which is also expected to be released in Russia, where Ramona is becoming increasingly popular. Her songs in Polish plays several Russian radio stations, including the largest in Moscow - Moscow Echo. Her concert tour in the clubs of Moscow and St. Petersburg met with success as well.

Besides music, Ramona's passion is fashion. A year ago, she was honored by ELLE magazine as the best-dressed woman in the category "Debut of the Year", received the Fashion Oscar nomination in the category "Music".

Michał Zaczyński

Thinking Re-Act...

Why did I decide to take part in Re-Act? Because I want to see the whole spectrum of what is happening in the Polish fashion, looking at the first steps of young designers and track their development and accompany them from the beginning of development. Because I want to know the direction of thinking of Polish designers, catch the talent, but also know the causes of their errors, bad collection. Because ecological fashion is no longer fashionable eco-freak, a momentary extravagance suggested by investigating agencies that creates trends, and becoming the standard. The clothing industry is one of the biggest polluters of the environment, hence the idea of recycling, minimizing water consumption or energy and certainly is about to become the duty of both clothing companies and designers, since there is no turning back. Because the exploitation of nature came to the wall.
