The 4th edition of RE-ACT Fashion Show has finished.

The 4^th Edition of RE-ACT Fashion Show – Fashion Week Poland has finished.

On 5^th June 2009 in Andel's Hotel was held RE-ACT Fashion Show – a contest for young designers for the best recyclable outfit.

The undisputed winner of the Prize of the Mayor of Lodz was Sylvia Rochala, the author of a dresses collection made from flowers and VHS tapes. One of the jury members, Grzegorz Matląg, confessed that the collection was chosen because of a practical attitude to the topic and an ultra-feminine style.

The second prize, founded by the MPO went to Jacek Klosinski, a student of the 4^th year of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. His collection was made from one-way trash bags.

The third place took a collection of Katarzyna Konieczka, a graduate of the International School of Costume and Fashion Design in Warsaw. The jury enjoyed an interesting mix of cut up plastic mannequins and knitted fabric.

SBS Public Relations Agency, organizer of RE-ACT, guarantees help in promoting their ecological collection during the next RE-ACT editions.
