12th of October in Lodz took place fourth edition of Re-Act Fashion Show – one of the most important international eco-fashion competition. The jury, chaired by Olga Nieścier, awared one grand prize and two 2nd prizes. Statuette of Re-Kreator 2012 and grand prize 15 000 zloty went to Karen Jessen for “Acts of Rebellion”. Her collection represents an act of rebellion against the throw- away mentality and worldwide injustice within fashion industry. Therefore she specialized in reusing old and expandable materials. By employing newly developed artisanal techniques Jeans, T-shirts and olde leather sofas have been given a second life. 1st second prize funded by eco-cosmetics company Pat&Rub went to Veronika Kostkova for collection “Between”. And second one by RE-ACT Foundation went to Agnieszka Zdonek . Her collection was inspired by antique Greek ceramics. The Final Gala began with a special show of Ricardo Ramos, who was awarded in Re-Act Fashion 2011....
